October Birthstone Tourmaline - Shine On Bracelet Set
October has two modern birthstones. While it's commonly associated with Opal, I adore the less common October birthstone, Tourmaline. Tourmaline comes in a rainbow of colours, including black, pink, green, gold, and, less frequently, blue. For my October collaboration with The Vivienne Files, I've opted to highlight this gorgeous stone's different colors and shapes.
Full disclosure, I've been stockpiling different cuts of Tourmaline for a while now. In addition to 8mm round beads, each set includes a faceted Tourmaline focal bead, 3 flat round faceted, 8 6mm round faceted, a 2 lantern cut faceted tourmaline beads. That's a lot of sparkle for two bracelets!
I've named this set Shine On because of all those pretty facets, but also because Tourmaline is one stone with a huge variety of colours that complement each other. (See where I'm going here?) Like Tourmaline, each of us has our own unique gifts and talents that are important to make the world we live in a better place. So Shine On, Lynxes!
IMPORTANT NOTE: More than any other piece I've designed, each Shine On bracelet set is unique in its colour variation. While I've tried to include a variety of Tourmaline's colours in each set, the patterns, focal bead colours, etc. are different in each piece.
