Terra Mater is the Roman goddess of the Earth and where we get our concept of Mother Earth. It seemed the perfect name for our third collaboration bracelet with The Vivienne Files. The May Pantone Colorstrology colour is Shamrock (which honestly I was expecting to be a bold Irish green). In fact, it's a muted spring green which, in the gemstone world, is best represented by Green Line Jasper.

Green Line Jasper appears in a wide range of green tones from almost crystal clear through olive and beige shades to deep mossy greens. It's basically spring in a gemstone.

While working out this month's special edition bracelet, I came up with two versions I loved, so I decided to offer you a choice for May. Bracelet version one is all Green Line Jasper set off with Tibetan silver alloy accent beads. Version two also features Sandalwood beads in a rich mahogany colour. Both bracelets have Tree of Life charms which represent new life and rebirth (perfect for spring!) but also longevity and steadfastness.

About the Gemstones:

Green Line Jasper – Green jaspers were some of the most popular gemstones historically as they were believed to be ‘rain bringers.’ They are thought to ward off nightmares and encourage prosperity (so why not bring a little more ‘green’ into your life.) I love green line jasper for its mossy-green tones and forest-y vibe.
