The design for my Lepidolite Earrings has been a popular one and I've been asked if it's available in other gemstones. It's difficult to come by matched pairs of gemstones suitable for earrings but I managed to get my hands on a few. I only have one set each of these gemstone earring pairs so once they are gone, they are gone for good.

These earrings hang roughly 3.5 inches (8cm) and are just over 1/2 inch (1.5 cm) at their widest point.

  • Ear hooks and pins are 304 Stainless Steel

Amethyst – Although amethyst is a fairly common gemstone it has long been associated with luxury. This beautiful purple-hued quartz is meditative and calming and promotes spiritual growth and enlightenment. Bring amethyst into your life for more calm, peace, and centeredness.

Chrysocolla – This beautiful stone gets its turquoise/blue/green shades from copper. This stone has long been associated with ‘the gift of gab’ and communication. Historically, Chrysocolla has been a talisman for musicians and teachers and has been called a Goddess stone for its connection to feminine energy.

Obsidian – Obsidian is actually naturally occurring volcanic glass created when lava cools very quickly. Pure obsidian is dark black but the lava often mixes with other minerals as it cools forming different inclusions. Obsidian is the coming together of the raw elements Fire, Earth, and Water and is believed in metaphysical circles to contain all of their energies.

Pyrite - This golden-hued gemstone is also known as Fools Gold but you're no fool if you add it to your jewelry collection. Pyrite creates a spark when struck against another hard metal. Its name comes from the Greek 'pyr' meaning fire. This stone has long been believed to protect the wearer from negative energy.

Selenite – This is a specific form of the mineral gypsum and has prized for its beauty as far back as ancient Egypt and Greece. It actually gets its name from the Greek moon goddess Selene. Selenite is a soft, brittle mineral but nevertheless is a protective stone in metaphysical circles. Selenite is easily scratched and water-soluble so always store it separately in a dry place when not being worn.

Tiger's Eye - What could be more fierce than the 'Eye of the Tiger?' This is the ultimate power gemstone. Tiger's Eye helps you unblock your creativity and move past your fears to become the Fierce Lynx you are deep inside.
