Southwest Kumihimo Bracelet
I recently went on a girls shopping getaway with my Mom and while cruising our favourite discount store I lucked into a goldmine of beading supplies. So, I did what any good beader would do - shop first, figure out what to do with things later!
One of the many things I happened upon were tubes of mixed brilliantly coloured 6mm glass beads. I decided to give them a try in a kumihimo bracelet and this was the result. The colours gave off a southwest vibe, so I paired them with a turquoise coloured magnesite bead to act as a button closure.
The Southwest Kumihimo bracelet is light and easy to wear with its variety of colours and is perfect for anyone who loves those warm earthy tones. This is a one and only piece so don't miss out!
Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese art of cord braiding. The word itself means 'gathered threads' and has been used for centuries to create beautifully braided cords for clothing and other accessories.
Magnesite – Magnesite takes its name from the high levels of magnesium found within it. It is a calming gemstone known to help spark creativity and imagination. Relaxation and clarity are a winning combo all Fierce Lynxes could use more of.
