Acadian Forest Winter - Bracelet Set

$45.00

The Acadian Winter Forest bracelet set is inspired by the winter colour palette of the Northern Appalachian Mountain woodlands. This handmade bracelet set includes white Agates, green Jaspers, and hints of red Bamboo Coral.

The Acadian Forest is the woodland that surrounds my home. This northern woodland spans over half of New Brunswick, most of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Nova Scotia, and touches Quebec, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. (There's your geography lesson for the day.)

The bracelet set centers around three large Seaweed Quartz oval beads (a fitting focal point for a gal from the Bay of Fundy area.) The greens of the Seaweed Quartz are picked up in additional Green Line Jasper beads. Winter's snow and ice are represented by the swirling patterns of white crazy lace agate. Tiny red Bamboo Coral beads represent the winter berries dotted throughout the woods at this time of year.

I hope this bracelet set brings to mind the peace and calm of a wintery walk in the woods and the beauty of nature's restful season.

This is a Limited Edition Set that will not be restocked.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION:

The Enchanting Winter Collection highlights the magic of the deep winter months in the northern hemisphere. While much of nature is resting and rejuvenating for the new spring, there is still plenty of colour and life to be found if you know where to look: sparkling ice crystals, glacier blues, rich red berries, and evergreen forests.

    ABOUT THE GEMSTONES:

Agate – Agate in all its forms is grounding and connects you to Mother Earth. I love working with Agate because of the wide range of colours, from rich greens to rusty red to pretty purples. Agate's makings can be swirling spirals, distinct bands and stripes, or splashes of colour. Use Agate to centre and balance your energy and reconnect to nature.

Bamboo Coral – First things first, the coral used in jewelry making is common and not from our endangered and precious coral reefs. Like its namesake plant, bamboo coral grows in segmented 'stems' that resemble bamboo. It is one of only five organic gemstones (i.e. It was once alive) and, of course, represents the power and timelessness of our oceans. Coral is worn as a protective stone, especially by those living or working near the water. It is also said to help relieve bone ailments like arthritis.

Green Line Jasper – Green jaspers were some of the most popular gemstones historically as they were believed to be 'rain bringers.' They are thought to ward off nightmares and encourage prosperity (so why not bring a little more 'green' into your life.) I love green line jasper for its mossy-green tones and forest-y vibe.
