Fire & Ice - Druzy & Moonstone Bracelet
The Fire & Ice bracelet combines faceted Moonstones with Druzy crystal beads coated with an aurora borealis finish.
I wanted to create a bracelet that captures the sparkle of shimmering frost and ice as it sparkles in the winter morning light. I knew I found the stones for the job when I first saw these 12mm round Druzys.
In addition to the natural sparkle of the crystals formed in the stones' pockets, these beads were given an additional A/B (short for Aurora Borealis) coating for a unique and colourful shimmer. The Druzys range from a natural off-white to cream colour to light pink/peach. Not every drusy bead has a crystal formation, but I've made sure the focal bead of each piece (as well as several others) contains crystals.
Each bracelet also includes two gorgeous faceted Moonstone rondelles, front and centre, surrounding the focal Drusy bead.
Fire & Ice will match with just about any wardrobe, adding a hint of sparkly glam to the most casual outfit.
These bracelets are sold separately, with photos of multiples showing the natural variation in beads.
ABOUT THE COLLECTION:
The Enchanting Winter Collection highlights the magic of the deep winter months in the northern hemisphere. While much of nature is resting and rejuvenating for the new spring, there is still plenty of colour and life to be found if you know where to look: sparkling ice crystals, glacier blues, rich red berries, and evergreen forests.

ABOUT THE GEMSTONES:
Drusy (or Druzy) - These are natural crystal formations in gemstones (usually Agates or Quartz) that were considered worthless in jewelry-making until recently! They have gone from being tossed aside to being one of the hottest jewelry trends of the year. Electroplating drusy stones add even more sparkle by coating the bead with a metallic finish. (Note: If your skin is sensitive to metals, electroplated beads might not be right for you.) Not all drusy beads have the crystal formations front and centre (like in life, there are no guarantees), so when you find one, it's extra special – just like you!
Moonstone – This pearlescent gemstone is a variety of Feldspar (like its counterpart Sunstone). It is said to promote female energy, and with its soothing shades of grey and cream, it is a calming stone. In addition to being the stone of our Mother Moon, it is also the gem of healing waters, so it's an excellent gem for Lynxes with mermaid tendencies.
