Note: Gemstones are naturally occurring and as such colours and patterns will vary in each bracelet. Each bracelet is unique and may not be exactly as pictured.

I fell in love with this beautiful Marbled Quartz because it reminds me of Stormy Seas, thus the name of this double wrap bracelet. Marbled Quartz is a manufactured gemstone. In this case, it's a composite of dyed Quartz and Bronzite that are fused together under high heat to make them colorfast.

At 6mm these gemstone beads are a bit smaller than my usual 8mm but they still have plenty of character. I've paired them with silver alloy polygon-shaped beads for a bit of contrast and sparkle. I finished this bracelet with a tiny whale tale charm.

I designed the Stormy Seas Earrings to match however they are sold separately.

The Summer 2020 Collection is all about our connection to (and dependence on) water. Summer, for me, means time by, in, or on the water, and this collection speaks of salty sea air and sand between your toes.

Bronzite – This gemstone gets its name from the bronze shimmer it displays when polished. It was used in powered form by the Romans to protect against mental illness and confusion. To this day it is believed to promote mental clarity and self-esteem. It is also known as “the stone of courtesy” as it can promote politeness. Maybe it’s Canadian, eh?

Quartz – Quartz is the mother of all crystals and has been used throughout history in cultures around the world. It comes in a vast range of colours from yellow to smokey grey to pink and purple. However, its most common form is a clear or slightly milky white gemstone. Quartz is said to be the most powerful healing and soothing crystal there is, so if you need a little help getting back on track, having Quartz nearby couldn’t hurt.
