West-Bound Lynx is the third installment of my compass point inspired gemstone bracelet set series filled with earthy Jaspers. (Don't miss North-Bound Lynx and South-Bound Lynx) When I think of heading west, I think of the deserts of the American Southwest. I chose the sandy shades of Tigerskin Jasper to conjure up the desert. But here in Canada, if we head west, we reach the prairies first and their endless fields of grains. The warm shades of Fancy Jasper remind me of wheat before harvest. Stretching across both countries are the Rocky Mountains, so I added Picasso Stone in tones of dark green and rich reds to represent our mountain forests. I couldn't stop at just three bracelets for this set, so this is a stack of four stretch bracelets, finished off with the platinum-plated compass charm common to the series and a feather to remind you to soar.

Tigerskin Jasper – This rich, golden jasper helps you be present in the moment. If you have analysis paralysis or tend to overanalyze the future (not that I would know anything about that. *ahem*) this is a powerful gemstone to keep in your arsenal.

Fancy Jasper – Jasper stimulates creativity, and no wonder when you see all the beautiful colours nature lends to this gemstone. Jasper helps align the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of a situation encouraging balance and can’t we all use a little more balance?

Picasso Stone – Also known as Picasso Jade or Picasso Marble, it’s easy to see where Picasso stone gets its name. The gemstone comes in a variety of colours, and there are often swirls or slashes of colour throughout them. This is an excellent stone for meditation as it promotes clarity and balance as well as insight and intuition.

Note: Gemstones are naturally occurring and as such colours and patterns will vary in each bracelet. Each bracelet is unique and may not be exactly as pictured.
