Inspired by the pioneering spirit of the De Stijl art movement, this bracelet set captures the essence of Mondrian’s iconic compositions—clean lines, primary colours, and dynamic balance.
A Tribute to Modernist Design
Each of the three bracelets in this set is a unique tribute to one of Mondrian’s defining hues—blue, yellow, and red—framed in crisp white and grounded in black. The entire set is built on a base of smooth 8mm White Jade rounds, echoing the artist’s use of white space to create harmony and tension.
The first bracelet features rich cobalt Lapis Lazuli, anchored by a bold 10mm centre cube and flanked by corner-drilled 8x6 mm Lapis cubes, reflecting the strong architectural lines of Mondrian’s paintings.
The second bracelet introduces a striking contrast with a 12mm spiralled black and white horn bead, while translucent Citrine cubes and 4mm Yellow Opal cubes add a sunny burst of warmth and light.
The third bracelet brings passion to the composition with a vibrant 9mm Red Coral coin bead and sleek Carnelian tube beads, offering a fiery focal point to round out the primary palette.
Each bracelet is finished with gleaming silver-plated brass cornerless cubes and jet-black 3mm Black Spinel rondelles, representing Mondrian’s signature black gridwork that ties every element together.
