I designed these chandelier dangle earrings to match the April Birthstone bracelet set, Spring Awakening. Like the bracelet set, they feature three different types of Quartz beads with one slight difference. These earrings contain both the dark teal dyed Diamond-cut Quartz beads and Rock Crystal Quartz (although in 4mm rather than the 8mm beads of the bracelet). Rather than the Crackle Quartz beads, however, I've used Diamond-cut Rutilated Quartz.

Rutilated Quartz gets its name from the inclusions of rutile, a mineral that deposits needle-like inclusions in this type of Quartz. The rutile can be golden, silver, coppery-red, or black.

Quartz – Quartz is the mother of all crystals and has been used throughout history in cultures around the world. It comes in a vast range of colours from yellow to smokey grey to pink and purple. However, its most common form is a clear or slightly milky white gemstone. Quartz is said to be the most powerful healing and soothing crystal there is, so if you need a little help getting back on track, having Quartz nearby couldn't hurt.
