Winter's Dawn highlights the Kunzite gemstone with a variety of Agates and Honey Jade in a soft pastel three-bracelet set that will compliment any winter wardrobe.

Inspiration for the colour palettes of my gemstone bracelets can come from virtually anywhere. The colours for this month's collaboration with The Vivienne Files literally appeared in from of my eyes while sipping my morning coffee. As the sun rose over the peninsula across the river, I was treated to a vision of soft mauves, blues, and golden yellows.

The pinky-purple of Kunzite was the first gemstone that came to mind and is featured here in the large, hand-faceted rectangle of the focal bracelet. Throughout the set is a sprinkle of hand-faceted Kunzite rondelles as well. Blue Lace Agate chips and rounds fulfill the soft blue shades of the morning, while Honey Jade rounds represent the golden sun. As there are plenty of soft whites, greys, and creams in the morning sky, I've finished the set with frosted natural Agate beads.

Kunzite – this pretty stone is typically found in shades of pink or mauve but can appear in coral and orange shades too. Honey Jade – If I had a complexion that allowed me to wear yellow, I would wear Honey Jade every day. This cheery gemstone comes in sunny shades from buttercream to buttercup. This rare and desirable colour of Jade stimulates energy and brings good fortune, and it just can’t help but bring a smile to your face.

Agate – Agate in all its forms is grounding and connects you to Mother Earth. I love working with Agate because of the wide range of colours, from rich greens to rusty red to pretty purples. Agate’s makings can be swirling spirals, distinct bands and stripes, or splashes of colour. Use Agate to centre and balance your energy and reconnect to nature.
