Legendary Lynx - Smoky Quartz & Angelite Bracelet Set

$59.00

Smoky Quartz and Angelite beads pair for a sophisticated brown and blue colour palette in the Legendary Lynx gemstone bracelet set. These gems are complemented by Dumortierite, petrified wood and shell beads, and antique gold-plated stainless steel accent beads.

Full disclosure: I'm obsessed with Smoky Quartz (and Whiskey Quartz and Lemon Quartz, and, and, and...) I've been stockpiling Smokey Quartz for over a year, just waiting for the perfect design.

Last week I spotted Janice's stunning capsule wardrobe for the Leshy scarf, and I had my perfect colour palette to highlight Smoky Quartz and my December Collaboration bracelet set. (Check out Janice's gorgeous winter wardrobe featuring this bracelet here!)

While it's not my tendency to pair cool blues, in this case, Dumortierite and Angelite, with warm browns and creams, like Smoky Quartz and Petrified wood, paired with shell beads and antique gold accents, the final bracelet set is a winner.

ABOUT THE GEMSTONES:

Angelite – This light blue stone is found in coastal areas around the globe. Angelite is a trade name for anhydrite and is essentially gypsum without any water remaining. Angelite’s calming blue colour provides it with a peaceful, relaxing energy. Its angelic name hints at its connection to the divine universe – and it can never hurt to have the universe on your side.

Dumortierite – This beautiful blue gemstone gets its unwieldy name from French paleontologist Eugène Dumortier who first discovered it in one of my favourite regions of France, the Rhône-Alps. It's a similar shade of denim blue to Sodalite, but instead of white inclusions, it has dark spots and speckles. Dumortierite is the stone of intellectuals and is said to increase patience. Who couldn't use a little more of that these days?

Quartz Quartz is the mother of all crystals and has been used throughout history in cultures around the world. It comes in a vast range of colours from yellow to smokey grey to pink and purple. However, its most common form is a clear or slightly milky white gemstone. Quartz is said to be the most powerful healing and soothing crystal there is, so if you need a little help getting back on track, having Quartz nearby couldn’t hurt.
