Holiday Season Shipping Guidelines
Even though the Holidays are over a month away, shipping will be one of the main issues customers are concerned with regarding purchases online.
With the Holidays fast approaching, many have started their holiday shopping early. Here at Fierce Lynx, we hope to answer your holiday shipping questions. As well we plan to keep you up to date if anything changes with shipping from Canada.
*I typically ship your packages within 48 hours (business days only) for in-stock items [Packages including back-ordered items will ship when ALL order items are available].
Canada: We offer free shipping on orders of $100 or more. Your items are sent by Expedited Parcel within 3 to 7 business days (this includes tracking and liability insurance up to $100).
Closer to the Holidays, we anticipate this to be about 10 to 15 business days. Currently, Canada Post is not guaranteeing delivery for a specific date.
Cutoff dates in Canada are as follows, Standard Shipping December 9th, Xpresspost December 21st, and Priority December 21st.

USA: We offer Flat Rate Shipping in the USA of $15 for orders under $125.
We now offer free shipping to the USA on orders of $125 CAD or more (After discounts and before applicable taxes). Orders will be shipped via Canada Post Tracked Packet USA and include tracking and liability insurance up to $100
Canada Post has advised delivery times of 4 to 7 business days in working with USPS. (Not including customs or delayed shipping due to Covid19.)
Closer to the holidays, we do anticipate this to be up to 15 to 20 business days.
Cutoff dates for USA are as follows, Tracked Packet December 9th, Xpresspost USA December 15th.

International: We will continue to ship internationally; however, International orders will be calculated at the Canada Post rate. Orders over 100$ CAD will ship free. International Packages DO NOT include tracking or insurance. Please select Tracked Packet International at checkout if you require tracking and insurance.
*International orders may be subject to taxes and/or import duties. These are the responsibility of the customer at the time of delivery.
We do anticipate this being higher the closer we get to the holidays.
Cutoff dates for most of Europe and Australia are as follows, Tracked Packet December 5th, Xpresspost International December 9th.

Some counties have suspended International Postal Service. You can see these on the Canada Post website,
USA & International Orders, please note: While it is not often the case, shipments can be held up at your country's border/customs for inspection causing delivery delays and import duties or taxes may be charged. You are responsible for any additional import fees incurred by your shipment.

How Do You Package Your Jewellery
I ship all my pieces in compostable mailers. These mailers are recyclable and (so far) are the best combination of sustainable and durable I've found.
Each handmade piece is carefully wrapped in bubble wrap (read my article about fun ways to reuse this) and tucked inside a burlap bag. You should always return your pieces to the bag when not wearing them as some gemstones are light-sensitive and easily scratched.
Each package comes with care instructions and information about your handmade pieces.
If you are giving jewellery as a gift, I also offer several gift box options. If you need something different, please don't hesitate to email me for help.
