Desert Lynx - Gemstone Bracelet Set
The Desert Lynx bracelet set combines the warm yellow and rusty tones of Flower Opal with Green Line Jasper and matte fossil for a warm weather look.
While I tend toward designing in with cooler colours I wanted to shake things up this month. For this Vivienne Files collaboration I was thinking specifically of my warmer colour loving lynxes. I've used warm gold accents and matte beige fossil beads to set off the warmer tones in the Opals and Jaspers.
These particular Flower Opals feature rusty red/orange and yellow, with darker brown and black inclusions and the occasional splash of purple.
If, like me, you just can't pull off wearing gold toned metals, I have the same metal beads available in silver. If there aren't any silver bracelets in stock, just email me and let me know you'd prefer this version instead.

ABOUT THE GEMSTONES:
Flower Opal – This common Opal comes in a variety of colours from rust to yellow with dark inclusions and sometimes even a bold splash of purple. It has a high shine, and while most are opaque, some include patches of translucence. Like all common opals, flower opal is believed to provide a gentle, calming energy.
Green Line Jasper – Green jaspers were some of the most popular gemstones historically as they were believed to be ‘rain bringers.’ They are thought to ward off nightmares and encourage prosperity (so why not bring a little more ‘green’ into your life.) I love green line jasper for its mossy-green tones and forest-y vibe.
