Note: Gemstones are naturally occurring and as such colours and patterns will vary in each bracelet. Each bracelet is unique and may not be exactly as pictured.

I've had a Mardi Gras themed gemstone bracelet in my head for a while now. When I saw February's Pantone colour or the month was Sheer Lilac it seemed like perfect timing.

The Mardi Gras theme was inspired by the micro pave mask charm I have been itching to use. The purple gemstone is my beloved Amethyst, which is also the birthstone for February. (Be sure to check out my Amethyst birthstone collection if you love this stone as much as I do.)

The green and yellow stones are both forms of Jade. The green is Ching Hai Jade, which pops up in a number of my designs because of its versatility. The yellow Jade is a softer, faceted stone, which adds a dash more sparkle to the whole look.

The Mardi Gras bracelet set is fun, fresh, and ready for a good time. Whether you're dancing on Bourbon St. or enjoying a casual night with your besties, this set is ready for a good time.

About the Gemstones:

Amethyst – Although amethyst is a fairly common gemstone it has long been associated with luxury. This beautiful purple-hued quartz is meditative and calming and promotes spiritual growth and enlightenment. Bring amethyst into your life for more calm, peace, and centeredness.

Jade – Jade has been prized throughout history for its durability and beauty, particularly in China where it is still viewed as a bringer of fortune, prosperity, and luck. Sign us up for more of all of those! While Jade is commonly thought of in its green form, this gemstone occurs in almost every colour of the rainbow, from white and pale yellow through to blue and lavender.

Ching Hai Jade – This stunning green and white gemstone actually isn’t jade. It’s the trade name for a natural combination of dolomite, fuchsite and occasionally other minerals. As such, this stone takes on the properties of dolomite (which is protective and balancing) and fuchsite (which provides intuition and creativity) for a one-two punch of goodness!
